Special Projects

For those customers who have specialist needs from their IT systems, we can provide, configure and support a range of computer controlled hardware. One example this is our Call ID software, which allows you to determine which customer is telephoning you before you even answer the phone. This software can operate on a single computer or across a network and interface with an existing database system. The database can then be adapted to display the customers' record or even details of their current order status. We can provide similar systems that provide postcode look-up on a given address, great for checking that web site response forms have been correctly filled in.

Other customers have asked us to connect scientific equipment to desktop and laptop PCs for automatic collection of data with little chance of human error. This has proven very useful where many tests are to be run and the reports are needed urgently, all that is needed is the tests to be set up. The data can then be automatically compiled and e-mailed to the required destination as soon as the test is complete.

Barcode Data Systems

Several of our customers employ barcode systems to help eliminate the chances of mis-keying long strings of data. We can provide all the information you need to decide if your business could benefit from such a system. Then if required, we can provide and configure all of the associated hardware; barcode scanners, label printers, etc... We can also make any modifications to your software to facilitate smooth running.
